Dr. Mohajer has been absolutely wonderful. After months of numerous doctors and symptoms which continued to get worse, he was a life saver to me. I am so grateful to him for not giving up--he has continued to run tests to check for problems despite what I'm sure seemed like very vague symptoms which were extremely stressful and anxiety-provoking for me. Dr. Mohajer listened to me when I told him that I felt that something was wrong and has persisted in helping me rule out potential problems. He has always been very thorough and sensitive not only to what is going on with me on a physical level, but also the emotional toll that feeling sick for an extended time has taken on me. As a dance therapist, I believe very strongly that our mind and body are interconnected, and Dr. Mohajer's attention to both have made all the difference in the world. But above all else, the thing that has made the most difference to me is that he is thorough not just when I'm in his office, but also when I am not. He personally (not his assistant or secretary) has called without fail to check on me every step of the way. Without any prodding, he has always personally delivered my test results immediately via phone as promised. When the lab has been slower than expected, he has communicated this with me and told me what information he has and what he doesn't have. I think this is something which unfortunately is very difficult to find but am incredibly grateful for this. Additionally, he's been a great diagnostician. After ruling out several things, his latest effort was something which he admitted he does not normally try but which took away weeks of symptoms that were keeping me from work and living my life in just a few days. I feel like I finally have my life back. Thank you to Dr. Mohajer. I would highly suggest him.

This was my first visit with Dr. Mohajer. He was very attentive as I described my symptoms and he responded and explained everything very clearly. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and laid out all of the treatment options that were available for my condition, and the pros and cons of each. I would highly recommend Dr. Mohajer.

I've seen Dr. Mohajer a few times.... first time in his new office. Always a pleasure to see him, great bedside manner. Calming and took time with me. New 5th avenue office is beautiful.

Unlike any experience I've had in New York. Dr. Mohajer greeted me in the waiting room, we talked in his office about my symptoms. He asked a lot of questions, and listened to all of my concerns. Not pushy at all. A really great doctor!

As a registered professional nurse since 1964 I have encountered and worked with hundreds of doctors but have never met one as clinically competent and compassionate as Dr. Mohajer. He goes beyond what is required and contacts his patients to check on them, and to discuss their concerns. I would highly recommend that anyone who needs a G.I. specialist look no further.

Dr. Mohajer was excellent. I wish I have found him sooner. He made me really comfortable and really listen to all my concerns, making sure I left his office assured he was there for me. The staff was also great. From the front desk to the nurse, everyone was really nice and helpful. I am certainly keeping him as my gastroenterologist.
