Dr Allen is a rare doctor. A gentleman, a doctor who's not money hungry, and he cares about your problems and your situations. He doesn't just do things to get money and kick you out. He will sit and explain and relate and help out anyway he can. He always wants what's best for you. The patient is his main priority. I wish more doctors were like him. He's more than my doctor. He's a friend

He is an efficient, caring and knowledeable professional. He has a warm bedside manner that makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to answer all of your questions and address all of your concerns.
I feel fortunate to have been guided to Dr. Allen. The previous Pain Management physician, was not giving of his time, nor did he offer me any options beside pills. Dr. Allen, has provided options, time, and information.

Dr. Allen is very knowledgeable and pragmatic. For my herniated disk, he recommended a conservative course of treatment (i.e. PT) rather than some crazy drugs or surgery. This is keeping in line with most of the research that I've read personally. The PT that he referred me to is excellent.

Dr. Allen was nothing short of perfect in my first ever visit with him. I was seen on time and then given all the time I needed to re-count all of my prior surgeries/medical history and carefully lay out the treatment I was I need of. Dr. Allen asked many questions and clarified all points before making his recommendation on how to best treat my severe chronic pain. I was 100% satisfied and look forward to my follow up appointment. One additional major plus is that Dr. Allen's practice offers too notch physical therapy on site so I can be monitored in progress by my pain management physician!

Dr. Allen was very attentive in my initial consultation. He sent me for an MRI, which I completed 7 days ago and which showed two herniated discs. Nonetheless, I have not heard from him nor been able to reach anyone in his office.

Exceptional patient care, highly accomodating, and speediness of results is how I'd describe my visit.
My visit to Dr. Allen could not have gone better. First of all, let me say that I usually do not go out of my way to write reviews. However, I felt that this one really is necessary because of the quality of my visit with Dr. Allen.
I booked my appointment only the night before and he was able to accomodate me. Additionall, I ended up being 15 minutes late to my appointment but Dr. Allen and his staff were extremely patient even though I was the last appointment of the day. Dr. Allen is one of the most friendly, personable doctors I have had. He listened very closely to the conditions I was experiencing and my background and then clearly articulated what he thought could be causing my lower back pain. He suggested it was best I get an MRI asap. To top the visit off, Dr. Allen personally called a nearby MRI center and asked for a personal favor so that I could have the MRI that night. I have rarely experienced such exceptional care and personal service.
Given the severity of my condition and the anxiety that comes with having back pain, I am so grateful to have visited Dr. Allen. Tomorrow he will receive my MRI results, will call me directly to discuss, and I will know my diagnosis.

I highly recommend Dr. Allen. He clearly knows what he is talking about and communicates it very well to non-medical people like me. He also doesn't talk AT me, which is a skill that many doctors seem to lose, (or forget.)

Was great about looking into my issue with a no-fuss attitude and trying to avoid having x-rays or other treatment done for a problem that will most probably heal by itself.

I was very impressed with all aspects of this office experience, from the cordial front desk, who checked to be sure my insurance was accepted to my experience with this doctor. The exam was prompt, thorough, and we had an excellent discussion about treatment options. I would highly recommend this practice, and look forward to working with this physician.
