I absolutely would recommend him to anyone I know-- he was a great listener, and figured out my problems immediately. He uses state of the art equipment and takes his time explaining and making sure you understand and are okay with everything. I wish more doctors were like him!

Dr Ovitsh is one of the few doctors you'll see who actually cares about what happens to you. He is very accessible, (even comes to the phone!) patient, and open minded. He manages to be careful but always stay optimistic. Sadly he doesn't do labor and delivery but if you need first trimester care or just regular gyn care, he's great. His staff is very competent too, and there is no voicemail web, just a person answering the phone.

The office was smaller than I expected, and the wait time was long. But after seeing Doc Ovistsh, that all faded away. I would say he was one of the best doctors I've seen in NYC. He is simply the best. Easy-going, super-knowledgeable and very punctual. I never wait long there. His receptionist is genuinely friendly (shocking in NYC) and helpful! It is so easy to make an appointment as Dr. Ovitsh makes himself very available through ZocDoc. Dr. Ovitsh allows me to ask him any questions I have without making me feel silly for having asked them. He is flexible and will communicate blood tests and lab results with you promptly and however you want him to (i.e. phone calls, email, etc.) I always feel much more confident and prepared leaving his office. I could go on but I think you get the point...when considering an OBGYN, I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else!

Just an excellent operation that makes doing your Lady Parts check-up easy and painless. Dr. Ovitsh went above and beyond my normal annual routine by ultrasounding my ovaries just to make sure everything was perfect. I had blood taken by the Physicians Assistant and she did it perfectly. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful too. Couldn't have asked for a better experience really. Sometimes male OBGYNs kinda of creep me out but Dr. Ovitsh couldn't have more easy going, humble, and kind.
