Dr. George Lighty is an Internist and Cardiologist. During his extensive career he has cared for patients from all over the US as well as many foreign countries. His background in resarch and teaching in academic medical centers, and clincial practice in well recognized cardiac centers, is an asset to his current practice. He has extensively published in cardiology and echocardiology. In addition he has a PhD in biochemistry and physiology. Dr. Lighty has evening and Saturday hours available.
Dr. Lighty grew up on a Pennsylvania German farm in York, PA. He is retired from the US Army Reserves as a LTC. These experiences expanded his knowledge and medical experience.

I thought the office was very friendly & professional. I had no clue of where I was going, but the nurse was very polite to me when I called 4 different times for directions. Dr Lighty was very thorough.
This is the first time I ever saw a Doctor and did not feel rushed. This Doctor took his time and explained things and gave a complete examination, all of this and it was on a Saturday.This is the way it is supposed to be and should be, when you see a Doctor.
It was great. I had not been to the doctor in a couple of years and Dr. Lighty took the time to listen to all of my health concerns. His bedside manner is very pleasant and he provided thoughtful feedback on how I can improve my health. I will definately be back.
