Professional Statement:

Dr. Mary Pravdin is proud to be a part of the Sequoia community, which offers a wide variety of Obstetrical and Gynecological services and technology to patients, and was voted a Family Favorite "Best Hospital" by readers of Bay Area Parent magazine in 2009. She strives to practice in a compassionate and nonjudgmental style and be a partner in a woman's care, finding an individual approach that works best for each patient. Dr. Pravdin was born in Kazakhstan, former Soviet Union, and moved to the United States at the age of 14. She received her undergraduate education at Stanford University and medical education at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY and USC School of Medicine in Los Angeles. After graduating from medical school, she returned to the Bay Area and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco.
