The doctor is great, but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. There are typically 4-6 staff members surrounding the front desks yet no one greets you when you walk into the clinic or acknowledges you when you approach the counter to ask a question. Unfortunately if I didn't like Dr. Pravdin so much I would avoid using this clinic.

Dr Pravdin is really concerned about me as patient. She took her time to listen and to comfort me. Everything was very good explained and she always gave me a perspective for my treatment in future. There was always time for questions and I really felt understood. Also the team is very nice and makes you feel welcome.

treatment. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford
University, her medical degree from USC School of Medicine in Los
Angeles and her specialization training from Kaiser Medical Center in
San Francisco. Her special interests are infertility, high risk
obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecology. She has conducted
research in Reproductive Endocrinology and presented her findings at
several medical conferences. She strives to practice in a
compassionate and nonjudgmental style and finds an individualized
approach to care for each patient. She is well known for her warmth
and outstanding bedside manners. Dr Pravdin is fluent in Russian and
also speaks some French and Spanish. She lives on the Peninsula and in
her spare time, Dr Pravdin enjoys tavel, reading, dancing, and

I'm a young patient and got my first pap smear with Dr. Pravdin. While the nurses in the front office weren't the kindest people ever, Dr. Pravidin herself was really great, helpful and patient. Got a consultation about other forms of birth control and she talked me through the pap smear as she did it, making me feel very relaxed. Quick, easy and made me feel like I could contact her any time!

Such a long wait, it was very inconvenient. I even made my appointment first thing in the morning as to avoid the long wait (again...it happened last time as well). Efficient at the bedside though.

The doctor herself was great. However, she will NEVER call you back when she promised she would. Even worse, the staff in the clinic have no clue how to do their job. I had a revisit last week, after not hearing back from the doctor on the date she promised to, I finally called back to the clinic to ask about my exam report. To my surprise, the person who picked up the phone told me that my appointment last week was cancelled, so there was no text being done. Hence, no report for me. ALTHOUGH I WAS THERE FOR ONE HOUR TAKING THE EXAM! It was just ridiculous that they could be so unprofessional. They do not even know which patients were at there clinic on what day!? I had to defend myself and explain to the person that I was indeed there for the exam! What a joke! I am planning to switch to a different doctor at a different clinic! Awful awful service!!

Dr. Pravdin was fantastic! She seems to genuinely care - and said I could call if I had any issues at all.
The only "con" was the parking situation - you should arrive early enough to get parked because the parking in the back is full, and the street parking is next to impossible.

I have a very rare case. Most doctors I have been to give up easily and prescribe a handful of things and cross their fingers that something works.
Dr. Pravdin offered her advice of multiple situations I may be in and did as much as she could to help me. She's awesome!

It was too bad that the wait time was so long. I can see why this is a popular office as the doctor was excellent, but they were clearly running far behind in their scheduling. I will go back and am hoping that I just caught an off day in regards to the appointment time accuracy.
