Dr. Abrahams joined Brooklyn Women's Services in 1996. Dr. Abrahams joins healthcare professionals nationwide as a leading expert in the field of menopause, however remains one of the few certified gynecologists in the Brooklyn area. He is currently an attending physician at Maimonides Medical Center and is an assistant clinical professor at both New York University School of Medicine and Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. As a Certified Menopause Practitioner, Dr. Abrahams focuses on menopause management including assisting women make decisions about medications, alternative remedies and lifestyle choices that affect this stage of their life. Dr. Abrahams is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and although he delivered a vast majority of children for Brooklyn Women’s Services patients, he now solely practices gynecology.

Dr, Abrahams is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have seen for a menopause consultation. He is great because he is an MD gynecologist but also specializes in menopause management, and is willing to look at options other than what's out there now for menopause with the typical gynecologist. He has empowered me to do a lot of research on hormonal balance, and has made great suggestions for relief for my symptoms from here forward, all bio-identical in nature . I would recommend him HIGHLY.
