Dr. Palagiri is a board certified internist. She completed her residency in June 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, where her training included clinical rotations in oncology and gastroenterology at John Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. Palagiri earned her medical degree from NTR University, India in 2002, and completed a dermatology fellowship at SV University, India. She then decided to pursue a career in internal medicine and moved to the U.S. in 2007. She is an associate member of the American College of Physicians and has a Virginia state medical license. Dr. Palagiri's favorite part of her residency training was outpatient care, where she enjoyed the relationship she developed with patients. She is also a proud member of the team of residents from St. Agnes Hospital that won the coveted doctors' Medical Jeopardy competition for the Maryland chapter of the American College of Physicians. She feels that working at NOVAMED will be a great opportunity to build trust with patients by treating illness and promoting preventive health. Dr. Palagiri resides in Herndon, VA with her husband and beautiful daughter Sanjali. She enjoys studying, biking and spending time with family and friends

The doc was very warm and personable. I immediately felt at ease. I have a myriad of situations to explore and resolve from being an amputee to congestive heart failure but am confident I've picked the right doctor to help me.
Dr. Palagiri was very helpful and I was able to see her the day before my appointment was originally scheduled. She listened to me when I spoke about the medical issues I was having and wasn't once dismissive nor did she interrupt me. I plan on Dr. Palagiri being my primary doctor while I am in this area!
