Dr. Yelena Vayntrub MD

The office staff was very friendly as was Dr. Vayntrub. She was understanding to issues I asked her about and did not judge based on some sensitive topics. She had information and options for me about difficulties I was having and I left feeling as though I was really listened to. The wait was over an hour, but the other patients in the waiting room were friendly and enjoyed conversation, there was also an issue with my insurance which may have added to my wait time.

This is my first visit to a doctor since moving to New York. I was very worried, having had terrible experiences with doctors in the past. Dr. Yelena and her staff were wonderful. She seemed concerned with my well being and peace of mind. I have a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks and I'm hoping this trend continues.

It was my first visit today! very friendly staff and Doc was nice she payed attention to my concerns and i felt comfortable with her.. waiting room is tiny though and while waiting you can't help but be in middle of other patients convo's lol .

The doctors and nurses were kind and professional. I felt like the doctor really cared about what I had to say, and she addressed my immediate concerns right away.

Dr. Vayntrub was both professional and personable. I had an unusual and uncomfortable condition at the time and she explained what the causes were and how to treat it. She answered my questions without rushing me and furthermore, she explained all the prescriptions to me ahead of time. I look forward to her being my medical provider in the future.

Comfortable waiting room and friendly staff. They took time to explain the ins-and-outs of my particular insurance plan so there wouldn't be any surprises. The young lady who drew my blood did so expertly and with ease. It was my first time visiting Dr. Vayntrub and she made me feel welcome. I'd gladly return and recommend to others.

Yelena was very thorough in her examination of my cold symptoms and was very patient in answering all of my questions. I am happy to finally find a doctor who I like enough to come back for future visits. Wait time could have been better, but given the fact that I made the appt that same morning, I can't really complain.

She was great and paid attention to detail and asked all the right questions. Very nice small office and makes you feel like she has been your doctor for years.

Her practice is centered around diabetics and high blood pressure; I have neither of these ailments. She did not seem to concerned with my actual reason for the visit beyond the regular checkup. Her staff is incredibly friendly and professional, though. Other reviews said she was extremely thoughtful, so I was surprised. I even gave a chance with the follow up that perhaps she had a bad day, but there was no difference.

I thought Dr Vayntrub was an excellent Dr! she took her time, made me feel comfortable, and was highly compassionate...this is a big plus for me. The wait time was well worth it!

I like her she is very flexible with emergency situations and makes time to see you and squeezes you in where she can. Her staff are professional and she is patient. She's not the friendliest doctor in the world but I sense that she does care about her patients but she could do better with giving more advice when diagnosing you.
