How it works
When patients are searching for your practice or a provider at your practice on Google or exploring Google Maps, they will see your real-time availability and can schedule an appointment by selecting the "Book Online" button from your Google Business Profile. After the patient books, you will be notified, the appointment will be automatically added to your Zocdoc calendar and if you are calendar-integrated, in your EHR.

Adding availability to your Google Business Profile
How can I add my availability to my Google Business Profile?
Log into Zocdoc and select Providers & Staff. On the right side, look for the section titled Google Listing Availability and toggle on. Note: the change will take up to 5 business days for Google to process.
Do I need to have a Google Business Profile?
Yes. Your practice and/or providers at your practice must have a Google Business Profile for a physical location in order for Google to match the information you provide to Zocdoc. We do not support virtual locations at this time.
Can I share my availability to Google for my virtual locations?
No. We do not support virtual locations at this time.
Can providers who are not on Marketplace show availability on Google?
Yes. Providers do not need to be listed on the Zocdoc marketplace in order to receive bookings from Google and your website. You should add all providers at your practice and show their availability on Google and your practice’s website through the Book Online Button so that patients can see the availability at your entire practice to book their appointments.

How do I know which patients are coming from Google?
Patients who book through Google and our other search engine partners will be shown in your Performance dashboard as coming from “Your website, Google & others”.
