I found the visit to be very impersonal. What happened to patient CARE? The nurse triaged me, went fine. BP was a bit high but doctor didn’t even comment on that. I was there for my annual physical. They asked if there was anything I needed to mention to the doctor. I did have an ailment. Next, Dr Melendez entered the room timely with a computer on a cart. This was my first visit with her as previous doctor left the practice. There was no pleasantries and no real introduction. Got straight to the point. “What brings you in today”? Shouldn’t they know this already? When I explained, physical, medicine refill, and my ailment; she told me she can only address 1 thing due to time constraints for appointments. Wow! Looks like Baycare’s priority is churning patients to maximize their bottom line, instead of actually caring for patients. Can’t put all the blame on Dr Melendez so I’ll give her another try at my physical I had to reschedule in 2 months.
