She obtained a Master of Public Heath in health policy and management at the Harvard School of Public Health and completed her internal medicine and primary care residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School. She completed a clinical research fellowship at the Boston University School of Medicine where she conducted health disparities research with a particular focus on patients with limited English proficiency (LEP) and pursued advanced coursework in epidemiology and biostatistics at Boston University School of Public Health.
