My experience at this appointment did not go well doctor look in my ear and confirmed my ear was impacted with earwax. She then sent a nurse and nurses assistant to irrigate my ear the irrigation did not clear my blockage.when I told the nurse that my ear felt worse than when I came she said she looked In my ear and it looks fine.I have gotten this procedure done many times and have never felt this way afterwards. They did not resolve my issue I felt like the doctor should have came back in after I told the nurse that I felt worse than when I came in.

Wait time wasn’t too bad maybe 10 mins or so. She was informative about my needs and concerns. But she didn’t ask a lot of questions about me and my history... overall would recommend
Didn't particularly like her bedside manner. Minimal amount of eye contact. I felt like a statistics. When I booked the appointment I specifically stated I was a new patient. Telephonic visit was scheduled, she took my name, age, DOB, limited personal history then stated for her to treat me or order any labs I had to book a face to face visit. The information she collected and charged my insurance company for is similar to the history and physical form you fill out before you are being seen by any office. What a waste of my time and money. This policy should change. Send the form ahead of time and allow the patients to fill it out. That way better time can be spent dealing with the patient.

I went in to obtain a medical note due to my health issues as listed on the CDC list of reasons for remote teaching. She refused to write me a note, she said my medical records would suffice. I told her the New York City Department of education requires a note from a physician. She still refused to write it as she did not agree with the CDC’s recommendations.

Doctor Meka was extremely friendly and accommodating! However, I have to express my extreme disappointment and frustration in discovering that because a singular nurse from that office is on vacation, I will not receive my test results until she returns on the 13th of July. How is it possible that only one person has the power to tell me my test results? I was initially told it would only take 3-5 days to receive them (my appointment was on Thursday, July 2) - now it will be well over a week before I hear anything. Although I respect and admire the doctor I visited with, I am considering going elsewhere for the simple fact that literally NO ONE is willing to assist me with sharing my results. The nurse called me at 6:30 PM last night and I returned the call within 5 minutes, only to receive the ever constant "no one answered" response from Customer Service. Ever since then it has been impossible to get in touch with that office or anyone for the matter. In the end, I have to wait over a week to hear any news because I missed a phone call by mere minutes. It is truly a shame what the healthcare system has come to in this country.
