I have been working in the counseling field since 1996, with extensive experience serving children, teenagers, and adults. Currently, I see adults and provide individual, family, marital, and addiction counseling. I am a Christian and integrate my faith into my counseling practice. I specialize in trauma and abuse, particularly working with women who have been sexually abused. My philosophy is to address the root of the problem rather than just treating symptoms. My approach is directive and practical, helping clients reach their goals without relying on excessive psychobabble. I love my career and have received ample affirmation that my gifts and talents lie in counseling.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Professionally, I am a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and am certified as an Addiction Professional (CAP) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). I currently serve as the Employee Assistance Program Coordinator for Walt Disney World and facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program groups in Maitland three days a week.
