Dr. James Wang was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, and raised in Michigan. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan before completing medical school and his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Maryland in 1996.
After trading Michigan’s snowy winters for Maryland’s milder climate, Dr. Wang was delighted to stay in the area and join Bowie Internal Medicine Associates, now part of First Medical Associates.

Horrible and ignorant in the extreme. The receptionist, Nicole, was very ignorant and ill-mannered. I was waiting for 30 minutes past the scheduled exam time, and she clearly didn't care. She also lied, claiming that I didn't provide my medical card, which I did. I have the form from the pre-screening I submitted as proof.
