The waiting room is busy and hectic, a few patients including myself had long waits. They just moved to a new online system so there is some confusion about appointments. I had no issues with my doctor's visit specifically other than having to wait a long time.

I came in to get a prescription renewal at the end of November. He said he would the the whole prescription, but only renewed half of the dose. Then when I came in today to fully establish care and have a physical, as the dr. requested, he decided he does not want to prescribe this medication I take as needed, he wants me to become dependant on a daily pill. When I addressed this inconsistency in his words vs actions, he said I was trying to bargain with him. No, I fulfiled my requirements, but he didn't want to be honest with me in the beginning and fulfil his requirements of being my primary care doctor. I am so tired of arguing about my body with anyone (especially men) who have not lived in this body for 40 years.

Dr. Stone is friendly, smart, and thorough. She listens and responds in a frank yet kind way. I fully recommend her and she's one of the best doctors I've ever seen. However, wait times to get into the examination room are long, the line at the basement diagnostic lab is always super long (though during COVID now conveniently on same floor), and timely follow-up appointments are hard to schedule. A+ for doctor, C for practice.

Today's appointment went well with Dr. Stone and her 2nd year medical student. What surprise I did have was when I went to the Diagnostic Center and found SO many people waiting - that I decided to go to K street lab - walked in and they took me right away. The staffing is terrible to have such a long wait in the hospital...for people wanting a test that takes less than 5 minutes to draw blood.

I saw Amy for a new patient visit a moth ago. I have been searching for a primary care provider for years and I am pleased that I have finally found one! Amy was thorough, kind, and took the time to talk to me and listen to me without feeling rushed.

When I made the appointment, I specified the reasons was for an annual physical. Not enough time was allocated for the physical because the staff was not made aware of the purpose of the appointment. As a result, I will have to return again to complete my annual physical.

Inattentive front desk staff who did not acknowledge my presence because they were too busy talking and glaring into the computer monitors. Front desk staff also continued to tel me that I had a copay for a preventative care visit. FYI- copays don’t exist for preventative care/wellness exams any longer.

Dr. Onumah is terrific! Helped me get on track with needed tests, and helped with a referral! Loved doing this from home - no need to sit with ill patients or wait for service.
