“I came to Dr. Adlersberg for a second opinion, and I am so grateful that I did. From the moment I met him, he was extremely informative, patient, and attentive. He took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explain my condition in detail, and help me understand all of my treatment options in a way that made sense. Unlike many doctors who rush through appointments, Dr. Adlersberg made sure I felt heard and understood every step of the way. His expertise and compassion gave me complete confidence in his care, and I ultimately decided to continue my treatment with him without hesitation. If you’re looking for a rheumatologist who genuinely cares, communicates clearly, and is deeply knowledgeable in his field, I can’t recommend Dr. Adlersberg enough. He’s truly exceptional.”

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a ?today's appointment. After waiting several months for an appointment, I was informed upon arrival this morning that it had been canceled. I understand a call was made this morning, but I did not recognize the number and no voicemail was left nor short message was received. I was also informed today that Dr. Jay Adlersbergs retired and only sees patients twice a week, making it difficult to schedule appointments. ?Next appointment I could make is for another three months. Had I known about the doctor's limited availability and retirement status when I initially inquired about insurance coverage, I would not have made the appointment, as I am looking for a long-term relationship with a doctor. The entire experience, including the significant wait time and travel to the Upper East Side this morning, has been a considerable inconvenience and waste of my time. ?

The doctor was great.
Experience was excellent. Staff is very nice and the dr. Was so knowledgeable and kind. He gave me clear direction on what was wrong and already have a follow up appointment

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Adlersberg, and it was heavily impacted by his nurse. After waiting an hour to be seen, the nurse called me in and almost immediately started laughing at me when I told her the reason for my visit. It was clear that she didn't take me seriously and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, invalidating every concern I expressed. After finally seeing Dr. Adlersberg, she stormed into the room and pulled him out so he could answer a phone call, insinuating that the doctor had more important things to take care of. Incredibly unprofessional on both parts. I ended up getting bloodwork done and three weeks later, I still hadn't received a phone call or follow up. I called the office to speak with the nurse, and she shut me down multiple times, refusing to answer any of my questions about my bloodwork. She should not be working in healthcare. I will not be returning to this unprofessional office and I highly suggest others to stay away.
punctual, awesome staff, and the doctor's bedside manner is awesome ! staff and doctor were comforting and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the doctor also, the facility is clean clean clean . I am satisfied with the quality of services. Thank you to the Doctor and Staff

Dr. Jay Adlersberg was very clear and precise in describing my diagnosis. A wonderful bedside manner. Wait time wasn’t that long less than 30 minutes office staff was very respectful and very friendly as well as very clean. I definitely would recommend this office.
Verified patient
He was patient, listened, did not interrupt, and answered my questions in depth and additional contextual background information in an informative and not alarming manner (as much as possible given the situ). The front desk was very helpful. Even looked up addresses to various clinics to help me make an informed decision. Wait was quick.
Great Doctor and Great Staff. What more can you say. All around pleasant experience. Detailed explanations of questions that were asked.

Dr. Adlersberg solved a health mystery that's been going on for over a year, and I finally feel hopeful that my condition will improve. He listened to me about my symptoms and how they impacted my life, took my pain seriously, and considered everything about my family history before making a diagnosis. He explained to me clearly what was going on, how he intended to help me, and what I can expect going forward. I am so grateful I found Dr. Adlersberg, and I hope that with his help I will be able to return to a more active and fulfilling lifestyle.

The first visit to this doctor seemed okay. Answered questions I had but didn't really give me any insight as to what was going on. Had some X-rays and bloodwork done. My real complaint is that they called me in for a follow-up only to tell me that the result of my pain was simply that I "was getting older" (I just turned 49!) and that was it. I rearranged my day to travel out of the way to spend five minutes in their office with the doc telling me something he could have relayed over the phone. Instead, they managed to get another co-payment out of me and charged me additional monies for some random "lab payment". Wouldn't recommend this doctor in that he doesn't genuinely seem to be in the business of healing. Mostly they are concerned with how to bill insurance.

Front desk and the two nurses were polite and respectful. I was promptly seen at my appointment time, barely any wait. The actual appointment was barely 10 minutes. Dr Adlersburg was not respectful, cut me off multiple times while speaking, was not a good listener, disregarded illnesses in my family just because they were not autoimmune disorders saying "I'm not going to even look at those" even though I'm also at risk of having it. He received a phone call from a different patient during my appointment and took it (which I did say was okay since I assumed it was high priority). But he never came back and the nurse said I was done and could leave after we waiting 5-10 minutes for him to come back. I never finished my appointment, did not get my questions answered or even vocalized and felt like this was a waste of time. This office was over an hour away and I've been trying to find a rheumatologist since August. So frustrated. Will not be going back.
