She was so empathetic. I was so embarrassed by all the crying I was doing and she assured me this was normal and it was ok to do so because of what I’ve been going through. She was very patient and explained what the treatment plan was going to be. I’m excited to see her for our follow up.

This experience was cold and clinical and not at all what I was expecting. This was just a consultation and I will not be moving forward with this office or this provider. After a robotic conversation, I was told there was an issue with a medication I was already on and that I’d have to deal with a slew of other issues to resolve that. I wish she would have told me at the beginning (when she only referenced it) instead of wasting my time with a subpar consultation.

Danielle is great. Orenda Psychiatry (the practice), on the other hand, is a major headache. I was seeing Danielle for about 6 weeks when the practice abruptly texted me that they actually do not accept my insurance. Beware - their providers still say "in network" on Zocdoc for me. Make sure you double check with the office your insurance will be accepted.

Compared to my experiences elsewhere, I felt more comfortable sharing my history and experience to my assigned NP and we were able to start a treatment plan suited for me. Danielle seemed nice enough but never turned on her camera, which put me off to the visit, and also prescribed medication right away with only the first consultation. It didn’t sit well with me. I’ll be switching providers.
