“Dr. Coleman really cares about her patients and keeps things professional, which I appreciated right away. She knew her stuff and explained my condition and options straightforwardly, though she came across as a bit stern when acknowledging the potential for bad habits. This was clearly coming from a place of compassion and wanting to provide guidance. I'd definitely recommend her if you want real, no-BS expert care.”

Not very friendly. Not a good listener. Did not send my medication to the pharmacy.

I booked another (higher-rated) doctor at the Orenda practice but was baited and switched into seeing this one instead. It was the most unprofessional and absurd appointment I have ever had with a medical professional. Avoid this doctor and this practice at all costs.

She was great! I actually spoke with her because the doctor I booked with was unavailable and she picked it up. Everything happens for a reason because it was such a great pairing. She listens, she cares, and she also has great advice in addition to knowledge about medications.

Well, what can I say? I always assumed that you go to this field if you want to communicate with your patients. We are talking about mental wellbeing. What concerned me the most was that the doctor clearly didn't listen to my concerns and just went through the list of questions she had in front of her. I would say one thing and get question about it in a minute. What was the most annoying thing is that 'fake concern' at the end when I got some motivational quotes about how my anxiety will go away (as if by miracle). What I do hate about online visits is that you pay for an hour (!) but the doctor was late for 20 minutes and the entire conversation didn't take longer than 20 minutes. So, yes, disappointing. Also, I specifically sent her the address of a pharmacy where I wanted to pick up my medicine... she sent it somewhere else. I have never been that disappointed in a doctor before. I have never felt this uncomfortable.

I would think that communication would be paramount when addressing mental health issues with patients. My first visit with Dr. Coleman was ok. However, afterwards I reached out to Orenda Psychiatry to ask a serious question about medication that took several days for anyone to respond back to. Then I had a follow up appointment that was subsequently cancelled after waiting for 20 minutes at the scheduled time. Horrible experience that I will never go back to.

This provider was not doing a whole lot of active listening during the session and just read down a list of prepared questions. She asked if I had siblings, and I responded "no". She then asked me what my relationship was like with my siblings. When I told her what medications I've been taking by their generic names, she insisted that two were the same drug. It took several responses of me stating they were different until she realized what the brand name was for one of the drugs, and only then she recognized that they were different. She asked me to show a photo ID on my camera, and I told her it did not reflect my current state of residence. She said it didn't matter, but when I presented it she said "that's a different state, I can't prescribe there." When I showed her proof of current state of residence she said it didn't matter and that she didn't need it. Throughout the session she made several snide remarks, like "that explains it" in regards to my family structure and culture.

The whole experience was very pleasant!

They changed the psychiatrist who I was scheduled with a few days before the appointment, and I got a call from them 5 minutes before our scheduled time to tell me they had to push me back two hours. And finally 20 minutes after the initial call they reached out again saying they actually had an immediate availability if I wanted to get on the call now. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend
