Getting to know Stacy Humphreys
Highly professional Nurse Practitioner serving the community for over 15 years, both as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and as a Pediatric Medical Registered Nurse, from New York to Hawaii. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Stony Brook University. My youngest patient was one hour old, my eldest, 100 years old. I believe in working in partnership with each individual to treat the wholistic being for the best possible mental health outcome, and I do so via medication management.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Successful Experience in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety and ADHD for adolescents 10+ years old (parents consent required for Medication Management), college/homemaker/working age to retirement and post retirement (I Do Not provide treatment for Dementia). I Do Not utilize Xanax/klonopin as part of my everyday practice and will not provide as first line treatment. Lesbian/Gay/Trans/Heterosexual and everyone in between.

Do not see this provider or Orenda Psychiatry. They bait you with one provider only to provide you with a different one, saying the original provider (who is highly reviewed) is not available for several more weeks. The provider they did give me was incredibly unprofessional (wearing an antler hat to a session around mental health) and seemed clueless in general. Furthermore, they misled me about my insurance coverage only to charge me a different amount later. All in all unprofessional to the point of fraudulent.
