“This was my first time visiting with Dr. Keefer and it was such a positive and efficient experience from the moment I walked into the office. The check-in process was super easy and then I was brought into an examination room where I was interviewed by the medical assistant; from there, I got an x-ray of my knee and then I met with the doctor.
Dr Keefer was very knowledgeable, personal and easy to talk to. He updated my documentation on the medical record and my next step was Tamara in checkout. She was so nice and helpful with my next steps.

“It was extremely refreshing to have found a Dr. who actually cared and listened to my concerns. Dr. Keefer took his time talking with me and going over my Radiology reports even showing and explaining them to me. We then discussed a plan we both agreed on that I'm excited about. I will definitely recommend Dr. keefer to family, co-workers and friends. Finding a good Dr. these days is impossible never mind finding a great Doctor which I was lucky to have found. For those of you reading this looking for a great orthopedic you can stop searching. You found him. Now go make your appointment. You will be very happy. Oh! And an added plus the front desk staff and nursing assistants are so very nice and pleasant to talk with.”

Board-certified, fellowship-trained physician Eric P. Keefer, M.D., joined Orlin & Cohen's well-respected team in 2008. He focuses on sports medicine cases, specifically those related to the treatment of the shoulder, knee, and elbow.
Dr. Keefer earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State University. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. He then pursued fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. Dr. Keefer and the entire staff at Orlin and Cohen are professional, knowledgeable and fully focused on whatever orthopedic condition you are there for. I first met Dr. Keefer as a result of a ruptured quadricep tendon in 2017. I was impressed with the level of skill he and his staff/associates displayed and have recommended several family members and friends.

Took my father for a lingering shoulder issue. Dr Keefer and his staff were all very kind. Everything was clean and organized. A short wait and we were in for triage, PA visit, XRay and finally a visit for the doctor. Scans were reviewed and different plans for treatment were discussed. Being a healthcare provider myself, it was definitely a good experience.
