Dr. Dorelien is a board-certified family physician committed to delivering comprehensive, quality care to her patients. She aims to establish strong connections and educate them on how to take ownership of their health. She earned her medical degree from Université d'Etat d'Haïti Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie and completed her residency at the Institute for Family Health. Prior to joining Stamford Health, she spent more than six years serving the Rockland County community by providing full-scope, compassionate primary care to patients of all ages. She also contributed to the implementation of the Patient-Centered Medical Home model of care. Dr. Dorelien has an interest in every aspect of family medicine, including women's health. Her hobbies include gardening, drawing, traveling, dancing, and playing various sports.

Dr. Dorelien had very good reviews which is why I chose to go to her. After years of not going to the doctor, I knew it was time for me to go. Not only did she not listen to a word I said--tried to get me to do xrays right away without hearing me out, did not respond to some of my concerns, made me feel stupid--she did not send Quest my bloodwork not once but twice. I took time out of my work day to go to Quest and they did not have my order so I called and they said they faxed it over. Because of this I was late to work and had to make another appointment and fast again. When I went back the next week, once again they did not have my blood work order. After missing 2 hours of work this day I was finally able to get my bloodwork done after being on hold with the office for 30 minutes. I dont have a job that I can just miss 2 hours and it's okay. I was VERY disappointed with this doctor and will be finding a new one.

This doctor judged me from the moment she stepped into the room. My spouse went in with me and she looked at him like he had no right to be in the room with me. She was a poor listener, & tried to offer me medicine without even properly diagnosing me first. This was a complete let down and I would not recommend her to Dr.Seuss if needed be.

I went into my appointment with a few questions regarding some health concerns and Doctor Dorelien was attentive. She urged me to share my concerns with a specialist to rule out any other issues. She also encouraged me to keep working towards my health goals when I expressed a lack of motivation. Based on my visits so far with Doctor Dorelien, she has been thorough, kind, and encouraging.

Excellent doctor. Great listener, very clear, remembers me from appointment to appointment and has practical advice along with specific medical recommendations. When a doctor says "I remember you told me..." back in early October... and checks in to see how things are going even though she had me see a specialist, it says something about the way they approach their patients.
I really appreciate her approach and the staff at the office is excellent as well. My son now added her as his doctor and my husband and other son are switching. She's terrific!

This was the best doctors experience I have ever had. I typically have a very difficult time at doctors and tend to pass out during appointments, but everyone from the nurses, to the doctor, to the lab technicians, etc. made me feel incredibly comfortable. I am so happy I found Dr. Dorelien! She spent so much time with me and spoke about all of my concerns. I could not have asked for a better experience.
