About Dr. Paige Paladino

Dr. Paladino prides herself on being a well-rounded Obstetrician Gynecologist. She has many areas of interest both medically and surgically and provides care for pediatric through geriatric age groups. Medically, she takes special interest in anovulatory syndromes and menopausal hormone management. Surgically, she is a skilled minimally-invasive surgeon both laparoscopically and robotically, including single-site robotic approach. Dr. Paladino is an LGBTQIA-friendly physician, providing transgender men with gynecologic care and gender-affirming hysterectomy at their request. Dr. Paladino is the best! As a young person, it can be so difficult to get certain types of care without getting pushback, but she didn't try to talk me out of anything, and was more than willing to go ahead and schedule me for surgery.

It was a very smooth process from scheduling to Pre- registering and checking in for appointment. Within a few minutes of checking in, I was called back to go into my exam room by the assistant, and within a few minutes, the doctor came in to see me! She was very personable, Relatable. As a trans woman who was fortunate enough to get bottom surgery a year ago, I need a gynecologist just like anybody else with a vagina. However, my experience at a different practice left me feeling othered with a doctor that, while having the expertise to treat me, nonetheless felt out of her league and made me feel like I was a special case just because I was trans. Despite my issue being commonplace and unrelated to surgical complications, I was nearly referred out to a specialist. Dr. Paladino was prompt, professional, and above all else, she treated me like she would any other patient. This was the first gynecologist appointment I've had where I wasn't made to feel different or like I was a special case that needed to be handled more delicately. She has enough experience treating trans patients to know what's different, while still understanding that my vagina has the same needs as anybody else's. I'm looking forward to seeing her again next year for my next check-up.
