Dr. Srinivasu Kusuma specializes in the treatment of both adult and pediatric spine conditions. He has considerable expertise in treating all spine-related injuries and conditions from disc herniations to spinal reconstructive surgery for scoliosis. His impressive credentials include specialty training in microsurgery, degenerative spine conditions, spinal trauma, and complicated deformities of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Whether an injury or illness requires surgery of the spine, knees or other area, Dr. Kusuma is dedicated to helping patients return to full activity and full functionality. He holds memberships in the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and other organizations that keep him abreast of best practices and breakthrough care. Dr. Kusuma earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and performed his orthopedics residency at Henry Ford Hospital. He also completed a spine fellowship at the University of California. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
