About Dr. Mitzi Rubin

In 1995, Dr. Rubin received her undergraduate degree in nutrition science from the University of Georgia. She then completed her Doctorate of Medicine from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1999 and completed her residency in family and preventative medicine from Emory University School of Medicine in 2002. She has remained actively involved with Emory School of Medicine as a primary care clerkship preceptor teaching medical students, as well as an active member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians serving in various board positions including Vice President and will be incoming President Elect for 2015. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has earned the degree of fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity. Prior to joining WellStar Medical Group, Dr. Rubin was a partner with Kennesaw Family Physicians. She currently looks after the community of Marietta, GA
