I went to see Dr. Patlut for a routine cleaning -- he was very thorough and the entire process was painless! He was very knowledgable in addressing my needs/concerns and made me laugh throughout the entire visit. I have officially elected Dr. Patlut after surveying the city for a solid dentist.

Dr. Patlut is a great dentist,provided excellent care for me, truly concerned about my comfort and well being. This was the first dentist I had been to in the city since I moved down here in the fall. Dr. Patlut was very professional and was sure to explain exactly what it was he was going to do before doing it. I had no wait time when I went for my appointment, and the office was easy to find/get to. I would highly recommend Dr. Patlut to anyone looking for a dentist, and will be sure to use him in the future.

I had a very positive experience going to Dr. Patlut's office today for the first time. I went in for a routine dental check-up and cleaning. I was in and out of the office within 45 minutes, even though Dr. Patlut was about 10 minutes late and also took a full set of x-rays. He was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and making recommendations on how I could take better care of my teeth, especially since I have Invisalign and thus at higher risk for cavities. They also had my insurance information in hand already (through ZocDoc), so I didn't have to worry about what I would be paying on the way out. They did seem to soft-sell some other services, e.g., orthodontia, esp Invisalign but since I am already using Invisalign through another orthodontist, it was a pretty quick conversation. The suction tube cord was placed over my neck and kind of uncomfortable, which is the only reason why I gave Dr. Patlut 4-stars on bedside matter rather than 5-stars; I probably should have just said something about it to him during the appointment. Having encountered several quack doctors/dentists in NYC and elsewhere in the past, going to Dr. Patlut's office was a refreshing change.

He was wonderful, explained everything before he did it, and made sure I knew what was and wasn't covered by my insurance. It wasn't painful or really uncomfortable at all. Nice office and staff.

Went to see Dr. Patlut regarding a crack in my front tooth. Dr. Patlut did an awesome job repairing it. Dr. Patlut is kind, considerate, sensitive and made sure I had absolutely no pain. His assistant Irene is wonderful and very knowledgeable and thorough of everything affiliated in the dental practice. I felt very comfortable and happy to be there. I am so very pleased I found him. Best dentist visit I ever had so make an appointment with Dr. Patlut - - you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Patlut is wonderful. His treatment and bedside manner prove that he values his patients' health above anything else, and it is a comfort knowing that I am his patient. I had a dental emergency during a difficult time, and Dr. Patlut made sure I got the treatment needed to save my tooth even though we were having difficulties with my insurance provider. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had very unpleasant sensitivity problems, especially in my front teeth, and decided to make an appointment with Leonard Patlut who fortunately happened to be within my network. His office is conveniently located in Midtown East, just a few blocks from my work. On the day of my appointment, Doctor Patlut saw me right away so there was no wait time (though there is a cool TV screen in a well AC'ed waiting room:-). The treatment itself went smooth - within 2o minutes the sensitivity was gone. I found the doctor very attentive to my concerns as well as very competent. I also greatly enjoyed a friendly banter. After the treatment I decided to book a follow up appointment to apply a de-sensitizer to achieve even better results. So now I am looking forward to my next appointment with Doctor Patlut!

Very small, casual office. I was initially cautious as the receptionist had sent me a misspelled message from a yahoo.com account asking for my social security number and I was worried about spam/scam potential, but my fears were put to rest when I visited in person. I was brought in right away, the receptionist was very friendly and the doctor was very kind and concerned about my comfort. He didn't try to push any unnecessary products or services on me (an experience I've had at other dentists) and I will definitely be back!

At first he was not very good at explaining treatment options to a layperson and seemed a little impatient when I didn't understand what he was talking about. But after I asked a few questions he seemed to realize this and ultimately did a great job and took a lot of time to make me understand and feel comfortable.

Dr. Patlut is a fantastic dentist and a warm person with a great sense of humor. I scheduled an emergency appointment due to a chipped tooth and he patched it up quickly and painlessly and also gave me a great cleaning. I plan on returning! A great dentist particularly for people who avoid trips to the dentist!

I came to Dr. Patlut for composite bonding on my two front teeth today. The end result is beautiful, and Dr. Patlut spent a lot of time talking with me and working on the teeth, to ensure that it would turn out this well (no matter how many modifications would have to be made and no matter how long it took!). Since initially breaking these teeth, I have had this type of procedure done several times by other dentists and none of them were nearly so patient, thorough, and pleasant as he was - and none of them created such natural looking restorations. Dr. Patlut was great, and Irene at the front desk was also wonderful - she was well prepared so that I didn't have to wait, and she didn't rush me or the doctor. She was very nice and personable too. I highly recommend seeing them at EZ Dental - I know that I will again too! :)
