EZ Dental is a private dental practice located in Midtown, New York City. We have been assisting patients for over 30 years with dental care, including cleaning, exams, whitening and many other services.
A graduate of NYU Dental School, Dr. Leonard Patlut DDS is passionate about dentistry and caring for the teeth of his patients. Dr. Patlut is the best dentist I've seen in a long time. Irina his office manager found an appointment slot for me right away. He is very understanding and compassionate about his patients. Dr. Patlut saw me immediately on Sunday morning in the Midtown office. He took the necessary x-rays and prescribed the appropriate antibiotics. I was upset that my tooth implant from a DIFFERENT dentist was deteriorating & had a painful infection. I have a weakened immune system and he catered my treatment to incorporate my ailments. He is more than a dentist. During my appointment, he was my therapist, physician, nutritionist and life coach all in one. He helped me stay hopeful that I won't lose my tooth & made sure that I'm not in pain anymore. I look forward to my next appointment.

Felt almost like a scam, but I did get the care I needed right away. Felt like I was getting upsold and insurance was not accepted as part of the visit, so needed to file a claim separately myself afterward.

Dr. Patlut is attentive, polite and careful.
He is manual and very thorough. I liked the home-y, cozy and down to earth feel of his office. I also liked the convenience of being seen on the weekend!
I don’t think the environment is for everyone but I really liked having a dentist who gave an honest opinion on what I truly need and want is unnecessary.

The receptionist/assistant was so welcoming and warm. I have extreme anxiety about going to any Dentist because of really bad experiences in the past. However, Dr. Patlut was so compassionate patient and caring. He made me feel so at ease and genuinely cared about the health of my mouth. Without hesitation he is one of the best general Dentist I have been to and definitely will come back. Surprisingly, I am looking forward to it. I wish I would have found him sooner.

I've been going to Dr. Patlut for a couple years now. It's always a positive experience, to the point where I can say I like going to the dentist. He's a funny guy, and is honest. His wife, who runs the office, is down to earth and friendly. Highly recommend.

Dr. Patlut was a friendly guy in an office that was a bit small and cluttered. He obviously has been doing this for a while and likely has a strong client base. The receptionist was not the most friendly but could have been due to cultural differences (she came off a bit rude but I do not think it was intended).
In terms of dental work, Dr. Patlut only scrapped off the coffee stains on the bottom of my teeth but completely missed the coffee stains on the top! All my previous dentists have been good about cleaning it. And lastly, less important is that he did not give any free samples of toothbrushes or floss (if this is important to you).
Overall - I will not be going back because I've been to better dentists before.

Recently I’ve visited Dr Patlut for a dental emergency 2 weeks ago and had a great experience. He’s extremely informative & provide in depth details of any issues & preventative care procedures.
It’s a very cozy/comfortable office space and with the office being open on the weekends, makes it very easy to set appointments around ones hectic work schedule.
I have definitely became a regular and highly recommend his services as I will continue frequent visits for all my dental needs.

I visited Dr. Patlut to have my wisdom teeth removed. He was very professional and knowledgable about the procedure. Most importantly the entire process was without any pain and went pretty quick. The receptionist explained that if there was pain, it was fine to take regular pain medicine, like Advil in the upcoming days. Overall, the experience was much easier than I imagined and am thankful to have Dr. Patlut as my dentist.

I've been a patient of Dr. Patlut's now for many years. He takes great care and pride in all the dental services that he offers. He personally does exams and cleanings. He is a perfectionist. He is extremely considerate, particularly of those patients who have concerns and fears about dental work. The Office Manager, Irene, is efficient and friendly. Appointments are seen on time. Receipts can be conveniently emailed to you. The office is clean, bright and pleasant with nice music. Overall the office experience is professional, friendly, convenient; and, as a patient I always feel very well taken care of. I highly recommend Dr Patlut and this practice; and, I plan to continue to be his patient for my dental needs.

Best dentist experience ever! Dr. leonard is really wonderful, he made sure that I was comfortable at all times and even played Andrea Bocelli for me when he found out I'm from Malta, South of Italy. The experience was pain free! I am so glad that I found the dentist I have been looking for for all these years!

I would not recommend anyone see Dr. Patlut. The Doctor and the receptionist tried to convince me (young woman attending appointment alone) that I should lie to my insurance company and file the claim for my visit as "out of network" although the office and appointment was well within my network. They made me feel very uncomfortable, the whole experience was extremely negative.
