About Dr. Angel Mulkay
Angel Mulkay, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a dedicated and expert cardiac and endovascular interventionalist. Dr. Mulkay is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Mulkay earned his medical doctorate from Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York and New York College. Dr. Mulkay founded Mulkay Cardiology Consultants two decades ago. Dr. Mulkay gives each patient his focused attention and prides himself on providing the best treatments available. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Society for Angiography and Interventions and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Mulkay is fluent in Spanish.

Had a 9am appointment and by 9:30 the doctor had not arrived. Receptionist said he'd be there "soon" but would not provide an actual ETA. Ended up leaving. Complete waste of time and now I have to rebook with a doctor who actually shows up to scheduled appointments.

I've never had such a great experience with a medical specialist staff from start to finish as I had with this team. I went in, all my info was already in the system, staff was friendly, my process and tests were done immediately too. I think I waited for 10 mins before being called. Very knowledgeable staff, very professional doctor, and quite clear communicating with the patients. Highly recommended.

Booked annual physical. Waited an hour before front desk staff advised the office does not provide annual physicals… I think this is more of a Zocdoc issue than the provider issue.

Arrived 10 minutes to appointment as requested, and was still not seen 30 minutes later. I asked for an ETA and was told the doctor had not arrived yet and they did not know when he would arrive, and I could see the physician assistant instead, to which I declined and canceled the appointment. I was also asked private questions by the receptionist in a room full of people.

I could not get any appointments with any cardiologist . They were 3 month wait time. Went on zocdoc found my doctor made the appt and saw the doctor 4 days later. So happy to use this app and the cardiologist top notch .

Long wait time. Actually sat the doctor for about 5 minutes. I am looking at geting a surgical procedure for a heart condition. They referred me to another doctor to follow up and when I called for an appointment I was told that particular doctor had retired. Previously they referred me to another doctor who was only doing virtual visits so I could not get a surgical opinion.
