I, Dr. Tibor Gershkovich, MD, am practicing pediatric medicine for the last 35 years of my life: 18 years in Europe and from 1994, in the United States. I
cannot imagine my life without being a pediatrician; to see sick children getting better under my care, to see how tiny premature newborns are gaining weight, starting to sit, walk, and talk, and to smile at me. These are all indescribable feelings of joy for me.
I am affiliated with three hospitals in the tri state area: Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, and Methodist Hospital, all at which I see my private patients. I enjoy my practice on a daily basis but I also like to travel around the world a lot. I have an interest in collecting stamps, coins, copies of famous paintings, watching soccer and baseball games. My favorite teams are the New York Rangers and Knicks.
The appointment was horrible .... The doctor first question began with my inscurance instead of patient(my son) . Second he was checking him at his right ear and resulted that the object used by him caused ear bleeding... I went there for stomac infection follow up. Such an unresponsible doctor ... Even he might be a good one he does not have any manner to deal with kids .If my kid start screaming and resisting of your visit you should stop calm him down and than start a different aproach... I am so frustrated and so pissed with that doctor
