Instead of trying to figure out the right specialty or visit reason, patients can describe their care needs in their own words. AI Care Assistant uses the information they share to surface relevant provider options. Allowing patients to more easily express their needs gives them more confidence when choosing a provider and helps practices connect with patients they can serve well.
How does AI Care Assistant work?
Patients often don't know the right clinical terms for their care needs. AI Care Assistant lets them search in everyday language. It then maps their search to your provider settings, including visit reasons, insurance, and availability.
Here’s how it works:
Patients describe what they need, including details like insurance, availability, and location.
If they aren’t sure what type of provider to see, they can describe their symptoms or health concern and AI Care Assistant asks follow-up questions to help them figure out the right type of specialist.
Patients can narrow their results by chatting instead of relying only on basic filters.
Providers appear in search results based on their existing settings. Like Zocdoc’s traditional search experience, you only appear for visit reasons you have selected.
