About Dr. Jacquelyn Skerrett
Dr. Skerrett has a history of providing exceptional patient care ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. She approaches the care of her patients with dedication and compassion. She takes the time to thoroughly explain diagnoses and treatments to her patients. Dr. Skerrett serves the Chicago area’s diverse communities and, in addition to English, is fluent in Spanish.
After receiving a degree in Psychology, Dr. Skerrett earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. Dr. Skerrett is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a National Merit Scholar and is a member of several medical associations, including the American Academy of Family Medicine. When she is not at the office, she enjoys reading, watching movies, salsa dancing and spending time with her husband and family.

Dr. Skerrett was so polite, friendly professional and great listener. Excellent bedside manner and knowledgeable.
The person who took the vitals was not personable just doing his job very straightforward didn't smile at all but didn't frown either,
The office staff allowed us to stand at one window for a while because they were both on the phone. Finally one of the women told the person on the phone that they had to go because someone was standing at the window. Had to continue to stand and answer questions and sign paperwork that I couldn't see on the computer screen, only the lady at the desk could see it, just told me what I was signing on an electronic pad. Gave me a copy of parental rights I did not receive a copy of all the other paperwork the HIPAA etc. It was for my son's sports physical, I probably will not be taking him back.

Very pleasant experience. Dr. Was friendly, knowledgeable and very respectful. Wait time was literally nothing. Coming from a clinic where I had literally waited for over 2 hours on various occasions this was very refreshing. My family and I look forward to working with Dr. Skerrett for years to come.

My experience was great. Dr. Skerrett was friendly, listened to me and was able to see my chart and explain everything. I couldn't have a family member wait for me in the office which was not good. He had to stand outside in the cold. Good thing there was a McDonald close by.
