About Dr. Amra Resic
Dr. Amra Resic specializes in family medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Integrative Sciences School of Medicine and holds a bachelor's degree from the same institution. Dr. Resic has contributed articles to many prestigious publications, including The American Journal of Physiology and The Consultant, and has participated in numerous invited lectures and conference presentations related to family medicine.
She serves as a clinical preceptor for family medicine nurse practitioner students at South University in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her clinical interests include aesthetic medicine, tropical/travel medicine, and medical education.
Dr. Resic is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the Florida Medical Association, the Pinellas County Medical Association, and Physicians for Human Rights. She speaks basic Urdu and Hindi.

My appointment was at 10am and I did not see the doctor" till after 10:30am. Felt very rushed and never asked by the doctor how am I doing or if I had any concerns. I felt like a number.

She was very dismissive of my symptoms. She also seemed to get an attitude when I refused to take medication to treat symptoms and told her that I need to find out the cause of the symptoms.
She refused to order a specific blood panel that I requested. It was ordered by my cardiologist instead, and the rests were positive for that panel.
I want a doctor who listens, not one who is dismissive and rude.

The staff was professional, prompt and very helpful. I was impressed. Dr Resic was terrific. I never felt and could see my needs were listened to. I am an RN and discussed some medical issues and felt she was on her game. This was my first visit and will not be my last. Overall a totally positive visit.
