Dr. Derek Dillion is wonderful. I've been going to him for a few years now. He has moved his office in that time to BayCare Medical Group and their phones don't always work well so ZocDoc is a good way to book.

Dr Dillon was a great listener and communicated very well with me. This was my first time as a new patient and I left feeling relieved that I had found a new doctor that I hope to have a great patient/doctor relationship with. We are new to Dunedin, having moved from Southern Illinois. One of the scariest things about that is trying to find a new person to handle your medical care especially when you absolutely adore your physician where you came from.

Someone I spoke to in the phone named Mary seemed to speak with a chip on her shoulder. It was a disturbing phone call and I told her do. She did not apologize. I waited too long in the waiting room and then the nurse that took me in to the little room up front would ask me a question but not listen to my response. She then decided to do a useless EKG without the Dr.’s approval. I’ve probably had 15 EKG’s and never have I had to take off my shirt and bra! Weird! I really like Dr. Dillon. He’s awesome to talk to.

It was a Medicare Welcome/Annual Wellness Visit. Extensive collection of patient vital data. First time seeing Dr. Dillon. Went quite well. Came across as someone with whom a patient could comfortably talk - thoughtful and relaxed.

Dr. Dillon was willing to take time and listen, wasn't so adamant about any treatment that he wasn't willing to take into consideration my wishes regarding treatment. He is up to date on current research and is an excellent teacher on the subject matter. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Dillon listened to the details of how my injury happened (it helps he knows how to deadlift, sort of critical when you powerlift!), and he examined my leg and didn't dismiss my pain descriptions during different movements. He ordered X-Rays to rule out any skeletal issues, but is taking a conservative approach to my treatment, which I prefer. It's an injury, not a life-threatening disease or issue.
