Dr. Carl Von Harten is a board-certified family medicine physician. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, followed by his Master of Science degree in medical science from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Von Harten continued his medical education by completing a family medicine residency at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Von Harten was great, very kind and I didn't feel rushed. It felt like a very thorough appointment and like he is proactive with care, as I got some tests ordered that I've never had done before. I really like how he seems to want to look at the whole health rather than just throwing temporary solutions out.

Dr. Von Harten is excellent! He took the time to get to know some things about me and my medical history, and he showed genuine concern for my health. He asked me many questions and also answered all of the questions that I had. He is very knowledgeable and I could tell that he truly enjoys helping patients and is genuinely interested in improving our health. I am completely satisfied with my first visit with Dr. Von Harten and I am completely confident in entrusting him with my general health care. And he's also a very friendly and nice guy. My transition to this new doctor was pleasantly easy... from receiving the online check-in before my appointment to the follow-up after my visit. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were quick to do everything they needed to do throughout my visit. Doctor Von Harten was amazing. He was thorough and took all the time necessary to answer all my question and concerns explaining in detail why he felt certain tests and procedures were needed. I'm relatively new to the area and need a new Primary Doctor. After a long search I settled on Dr. Von Harten. I was able to book my initial appointment fairly quickly. My check in process was smooth and painless and my appointment started right on time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Von Harten was very friendly and easy to talk to, answering all of my questions. Together we talked about the general health areas for me to concentrate on and he gave me all the time I needed during our session. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend him to anyone.

It couldn’t have been a better experience. I did the online check in the night before and when I got to the office I waited less than 5 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and made feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Ernest Carl Von Harten was probably the best Doctor I’ve been to. Great experience. He was attentive, listened to me and discussed my goals and current status with no judgement. He ordered baseline blood tests and it was easy to go to the lab and get blood drawn within 30 mins. Very convenient, nice staff and professional.

Dr. Von Harten was knowledgeable of chronic conditions including the one I have been diagnosed with. It was refreshing to not have to explain my condition to a professional and that he was already aware of how the condition affects me in ways that are lesser-known.
