About Dr. Sam Koo
Sam B. H. Koo, M.D., joined Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in August 2013 after relocating from Macon, Georgia. Dr. Koo earned his Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Atlanta Medical Center. In 2011, he completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis. Although relocated, Dr. Koo is no stranger to the tristate area. His current practice focuses on the comprehensive treatment of the upper extremity, including fractures, tendonitis, arthritis, and nerve and tendon injuries from the shoulder to the fingers. He sees patients at multiple Beacon locations in both Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
