Jonathon Vigil, PA-C, is a highly experienced Physician Assistant with a robust background in orthopedics, urgent care, and family practice. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, both from the University of New Mexico (UNM). With 12 years in the field, Jonathon has developed deep expertise in various aspects of healthcare. Jonathon's interest in healthcare is rooted in his family background. Growing up with a father who is an MD and a stepmother who is an RN, he was inspired by the positive impact his family members made on their patients' lives. This early exposure to the medical field ignited his own desire to contribute to healthcare and help others. One of the greatest moments in Jonathon's career was witnessing a patient's significant recovery and improved quality of life after a complex treatment plan. This experience reaffirmed his commitment to medicine and the importance of personalized patient care. Outside of work, Jonathon is married and a proud parent of two children. He enjoys spending his weekends trail running, bike riding, and attending his kids' swim meets and baseball games. His family also includes three beloved dogs: Harry, Buster, and Juan Carlos. Jonathon is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in his patients' lives and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care in all aspects of his work.

Everyone at this office is fantastic! All are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time needed to get to know me and my medical history as a new patient. Would highly recommend this practice after my first impressions during this visit.
Dr. Vigil has always been very understanding, and actually listens to all of my concerns. I feel like I have options when it comes to treatment and medications and he communicates all the pros and cons of each. It is always easy to make an appointment and be seen in a timely manner. He is thorough and seems to genuinely care about my wellbeing. This is definitely one of the better experiences I have had with a doctor / NP.

Our visit was great. Jonathon is easy to talk to as we quickly built raport. He is very professional and obviously cares for his patients.
I had been to the urgent care side of the office on a few occasions and was happy with them so booked for an annual visit and to establish what I hoped would be my new PCP. Jonathan gets over the top high marks. Although I only have elevated cholesterol, he spent close to 45 minutes with me. He very much made me feel that he cared about me and not just part of an assembly line. He was very thorough with questioning me about my health history and what my routine is. Picking his was a shot in the dark; I just went on line and picked who was available on the day and time I wanted. I got lucky. When I first entered the office I was greeted "oddly". My appointment was at 8 and staff just showing up but the gal who handed me some paperwork was sitting looking at a computer, not facing me, yet giving me instructions and I had to ask that she clarify.. She recognized that she wasn't giving me her attention and then stopped what she was doing and gave a thorough explanation.
