About Dr. Emily Chen
Dr. Emily Chen, MD sees patients of all ages.
Warm and welcoming, Dr. Emily Chen is an experienced internist and pediatrician treating a wide spectrum of specialized needs. She is skilled at building close relationships with her patients and believes in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient-centered care.
As a pediatrician, Dr. Chen is affable and reassuring during her consultations with children and their parents. She knows how to examine and treat children in ways that earn their trust and make going to the doctor feel safe. She cares deeply that parents and their children learn about the challenges of growth, development, behavior, preventive health, and management of illness while receiving the treatment they need.
Dr. Chen earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Massachusetts. Prior to medical school, she attended Tufts University, where she received her bachelor's degree in Geology and Biology. A well-trained and experienced professional, she provides care for residents of Cambridge and Somerville, MA, as well as many surrounding communities. She is currently practicing at CHA Cambridge Family Health in Inman Square and CHA Cambridge Family Health/North in Porter Square.
