He is skilled at building close relationships with his patients and encourages personal responsibility in healthcare which includes attention to health maintenance as well as interactive decision making during times of illness.Dr. Stricsek earned his degree in medicine from Brown University. He supplemented his medical training by completing a residency in family medicine at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. A skilled and seasoned provider, he also holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.Dr. Stricsek is extremely passionate about his work and derives satisfaction from the fact that his patients feel comfortable and confident when they come to visit him. At present, he takes care of the community at Somerville, MA. At CHA we believe that excellent health comes from a team of people working together. Really great doctor, very friendly and knowledgeable!
Dr. Stricsek refused to do my blood for annual physical. He just told me I am healthy and that is not required. When I insisted the doctor I want to find out my HDl/LDL, blood sugar level generally my lipid profile and my other pains I have in my body. He was just so adamant that I don’t need the blood work and was sent out. Never going back, very bad attitude. Couldn’t figure out why wouldn’t he go ahead with blood work for physical. Never going back.
