Jenny Stabler is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works with patients ages 4 and up. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. Jenny provides a variety of services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Among her professional experiences, she has provided mental health services within the school setting to children and families. (Experience working within the school setting may be of interest for parents who have children experiencing difficulties in school.) Through this, she has obtained a specialized perspective on the challenges children and adolescents face, including academic and behavioral challenges in the classroom, emotional concerns, and difficulties with peers. Additional issues addressed include childhood and adolescent behavioral and emotional problems; depression and anxiety in children, adolescents, and adults; parenting support; attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder; grief and loss; and life changes. Jenny utilizes a strengths-based approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sand tray, and expressive arts to support her clients. Creating and fostering safe and secure relationships are the foundation of her practice.
1. Does not see patients with Bipolar Disorder or Personality Disorder.
2. No substance use disorders.
