“Dr. Castillo was very kind and genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of my issue. He ordered appropriate follow up testing, setting the right next steps in motion. Again he was so kind and understanding when I saw him for an endoscopy, following up with a next course of action based on my results. I am so relieved to find a physician interested in doing what it takes to improve my situation. I am 42 years old, very healthy and active but have extreme discomfort from any meal and as result have fear of food. I am surprised to be hopeful we might find the underlying cause of my challenges, as I need to eat well to maintain my strength training goals and stay strong as I age. Highly recommend this doctor.”

“The front desk staff was amazing upon entry and upon departure-- Thank you for making my whole experience seamless. The provider is great!! Dr. Castillo is efficient and helpful. He had a conversation with thoughrougly explained all next steps. Unfortunately, I am having significant issues in sppeaking with the PA or Physician Assistant it has been over a week that I have been in contact with her attempting to obtain an override for a prescription. I am unable to directly speak to her when I call the office they only send her messages. I can only hope that I will have her contact me and the medication sorted in the next week. ”

Dr. Castillo’s bedside manner is top notch! It is the most difficult quality to find in doctors hi and he has it in spades. He’s patient and thorough. Office staff is also helpful, kind and imformative.

I did not like the office charge me the copay before seen the doctor first. It seems rude to me.
All the test exams needs to be collected by yourself; they gave me 3 boxes of stuff witj vials and bags: this should be done by a lab technician!

My experience with the office was so horrible. Very unprofessional. They canceled my follow up appointment which was 8/9 without telling me and rescheduled me to 8/31 again without telling me. I’m literally calling and begging to get my lab results. So now I will have to wait the whole month to get my lab results. Stay away from this place!

Today was my first visit with Dr. Castillo and I’m so thankful to have found him on ZocDoc. My goal was to get an appointment ASAP with a good doctor who could help me with my GI issues. I was there to schedule a colonoscopy. The doctor was very friendly and gave me very useful advice on the need for my nieces and nephews to have tests once they attained the age of 30 years since they lost their mom through colon cancer before she turned 50. This was great advice because I had never been informed before. For the brief period I was there, the doctor made me feel at ease while he was attending to me, as we discussed soccer which was very popular game in both our countries. It was a very pleasant experience beginning with the office staff.

I really liked Dr. Castillo. He was patient and knowledgeable. The only minor problem I have is that he prescribed procedures for me that I thought were too hasty. I don't think every case needs a colonoscopy and endoscopy. But in general, I liked his bedside manners.

The visit was very thorough and they asked me several times if I had any questions or concerns. The doctor was very polite and attentive, he gave me his card in case I had any follow up questions. I felt heard when it came to my issues and they gave me immediate actions/solutions to my remedy my problems. I felt so much much better by the end of the visit.
