Dr. Sabitha Aligeti is a board-certified psychiatrist who joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in August 2018. Dr. Aligeti has clinical experience working with adults and veteran populations in inpatient, outpatient, community, and multi-disciplinary settings. Dr. Aligeti's treatment services include conventional and evidence-based approaches such as pharmacogenetic testing, neurology treatments like TMS, integration mental health care, and telepsychiatry.
She pursued a Masters in Clinical Investigation, Internship, and Residency in Adult Psychiatry from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas after graduating from medical school in India.
Dr. Aligeti is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Aligeti is also TransMagnetic Stimulation (TMS) certified.

I was never given forms to fill out prior to my visit. I took it upon myself to reach out and received the forms the day prior.
While I got the impression that the Dr looked at my file prior to the appointment, I do not feel as though she had adequate information to make the determinations she made.
The physician’s knowledge of prescription drugs and their interactions was very helpful, He knowledge of alternative medicines was not what I expected from someone who said that she used to be a “holistic practitioner.” As someone with an extensive psychotherapeutic history who has been diagnosed with “treatment resistant depression “ I found her counseling advice to be rather “cookie-cutter” in scope. While I am certain that she is a competent psychiatrist, I think I need to look further for the real help I need.

Dr. Aligeti had great bedside manner. She also provided overall great health insight rather than simply prescribing medicine. It was very hard to find a provider but I lucked up and found ZocDoc that made it easy to book as well as providing reviews that allowed you to make an educated decision on who you would want to utilize.

I will not book another appointment with Dr. Aligeti. I made an appointment to consult about my suspected ADHD and intense anxiety and depression issues, but because I made the mistake to mention I had auto-immune problems, she spent half of the appointment talking about anti-inflammatory dieting. I had mentioned I do already watch I eat and I am not irresponsible with my diet. Aside from this she made it clear she could not help me due to mild self medication I have been using to help the issues I made the appointment for. I do not see a psychiatrist regularly and haven't made an appointment in 10 years and I was looking forward to getting some help with this appointment. I am very frustrated that the only help I was able to receive was diet advice, it was really a waste of time, resources and mental stress. If anything this appointment made my anxiety worse today. She also neglected to silence her phone and looked at it half way through our visit which really made me feel unheard.

Good experience. This is our first visit and the doctor spent ample time hearing us out. Heard about the medical condition, Clearly explained on the medication and how it works. Patient enough to answer all the questions we had. Definitely recommended.

Complete disaster. It’s been over a week someone still hasn’t contacted me back yet
I had an appt at 1:20 they said wait at 1 she didn’t log on til 1:40 then couldn’t access my paperwork & they were having system issues
She said she’s gonna talk to the office manager & call me
She never called me back
The office never called me back
Someone from refills called me back and went to transfer me and my disconnect my line
So after waiting an hour in my car while also at work I end up in a worst mental state of mind after all this nonsense than what I was before I initial appointment
Again over a week later and no one has yet to reach out

TLDR; Would 100% Recommend!
She is very Kind and Understanding. She tries to find the best way to help her patients and the best way to treat and deal with problems the patients may have. She was very professional but also very easy to talk to and understand. She did not rush and gave me as much time as I needed to explain my problems. Would recommend this Psychiatrist to anyone with ADD/ADHD because she seems to show expertise in that field.
