She also has a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and Spanish from Chico State University. At Rejuvené, Imelda helps patients understand the med spa’s comprehensive approach to aesthetics and skincare, which involves laser skin treatments and injectables such as BOTOX Cosmetic and dermal fillers. She performs cosmetic injections and discusses daily skincare with patients. In addition to cosmetic dermatology, Imelda provides basic medical dermatology treatment for patients, including managing acne, performing skin checks, and managing other skin conditions. Imelda approaches patient care as a team effort that involves getting to know the patient’s family and managing their skincare together. The passion Imelda brings to patient care mirrors her passion for dance, including extensive training in Guinea, West Africa, where she has spent several years. She sees live drumming and dancing as a way to unite people, strengthen our communities, and positively inspire one another to be better human beings. When not at Rejuvené, Imelda loves exploring foreign foods, languages, and cultures through traveling to faraway lands or visiting delicious restaurants or events in nearby major cities. Closer to home, she enjoys spending time in nature, anywhere from Upper Bidwell Park to the Grand Canyon.
