About Dr. Clenton Coleman
Dr. Clenton Coleman is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology (Kidney Diseases and Hypertension or High Blood Pressure). Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of our patients by providing individualized, compassionate, and high-quality medical care. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of professional services and consultation, as well as patient education.
Dr. Coleman earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his internship and residency at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center and his fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a part of Excelcare Medical Associates and is affiliated with Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ.
Dr. Coleman is dedicated to helping patients receive the treatment they need so they can enjoy a positive and fulfilling lifestyle. He is committed to helping his patients achieve a healthier lifestyle by working with each individual to discuss ways they can make better choices for their health.
PLEASE NOTE: Medicaid is not accepted for Dr. Coleman as a primary care provider, but he will accept Medicaid for nephrology patients with the exception of United Community.

August 24th was my very first visit. Upon my arrival I was greeted pleasantly. The front desk staff was professional, welcoming and all had happy personalities. I was immediately checked in and seen at appointed time. Dr. Clenton Coleman was very easy & pleasant to talk with. Dr. Coleman saved my life in 2014 and has been my primary doctor every since. Dr. Coleman was there every step of the way in transition from dialysis to transplant and currently post-transplant. I definitely trust him. Not only is he a great doctor, his staff are also awesome!

Timing is everything for me. I really appreciated how quickly the staff got me situated, and that all of the tests I'd requested were performed on the premises. Doctor Coleman is great, listened to all my concerns, responded quickly, sent my prescriptions electronically, and accepted cc payment.

This was my first appointment to establish as patient of Dr Coleman. I recently moved here from another state and my previous physician would spend my office visit looking at computer, reviewing my previous visit and complaints , review lab, write Rx and rarely made eye contact . In the 6 years I went to his physician only one time did he actually examine me.
Dr Coleman made eye contact, listened to me and answered my questions. He listened to my heart, lungs, and did brief exam. He made me feel like he was interested in me the person and not just my file.

Location was questionable . Inside of waiting room there is a raw-dine door that is secured and goes down stair way.
Person at desk game me form to complete in Spanish. When I asked for form in English she had to look for one.
Exam room was more comforting . The doctor seem knowledgeable. And had good bed side manner.
Nurse was unable to draw blood even after I told her I had small veins. No butterfly available.
