About Dr. Stephen Angeli
Stephen Angeli, MD, FACC, FSCAI, has been providing quality cardiovascular care to the community for more than three decades. Dr. Angeli is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine. He earned his medical doctorate from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Angeli completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Kings County Hospital Center. He completed his fellowship in clinical cardiology at Saint Michael’s Medical Center.
Dr. Angeli is part of Cardiovascular Specialists of North Jersey. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the American College of Cardiology. The Doctor was unwilling to listen to alternative ways to lower my cholesterol and LDL, immediately wanted me on a statin 40 mg of Crestor. To me that was extremely high for a new patient when the lowest dose is 5mg.
I took the time to write many supplements that the doctor didn’t even look at or factor in.
For a new cardiologist patient I was disappointed felt like the doctor was just checking boxes and moving on.
