Dr. Seshat Mack was born and raised in Harlem, NYC, and completed their undergraduate education at Howard University in Washington D.C. Dr. Mack then returned to New York City to enroll in the M.D./Ph.D. program at Mount Sinai, and completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with Dr. Lakshmi Devi in 2020. Their research has implications for the treatment of opioid use disorder. Dr. Mack completed medical school in 2022, and completed a residency at Mount Sinai/Institute for Family Health in 2025. Dr. Mack is board-certified in Family Medicine and is an HIV specialist (AAHIVS). Their professional interests include queer healthcare, HIV medicine, and full-spectrum reproductive health care.

Dr. Mack was truly amazing as a provider and person. I felt relived and comfortable discussing my medical concerns with them. I left that appointment with more knowledge of my situation and have a strong sense that I am in very good hands. Tasha the tech was also a delight to work with, and I can feel the positive relationship she has with her colleagues - especially Dr. Mack. I think Dr. Mack would do really well as a clinical psychologist just based off of the consultation I received. We need more physicians like Dr. Mack and Tasha.
P.S. Dr. Mack's office has to be one of my favorite offices visited. I love all of the lego sculptures on display. I know it took them awhile to build those pieces. It speaks volumes of the talent displayed by them.
Please refrain from using the incorrect pronouns for Dr. Mack. They do not deserve disrespect of any kind. If unsure, always call them by their name. Tasha will give you a quick reminder before meeting Dr. Mack.

I was excited to connect with this doctor. They were very inclusive in language and thorough in professionalism. They took time to ask questions to get to know more about concerns or inquiries. I enjoyed the hospitality shown by the MD and the medical assistant. Even after my appointment they came out to make sure I could navigate my next set of services. The office for vitals was very underwhelming in cleanliness. However, the md’s office was clean and smelled of essential oils.
