About Dr. Mohamed Ali

Please note: existing patient visits are shorter than the time required to assess new patients. Any new patients that book their appointment in an existing patient time slot will probably need to be rescheduled. Selecting the appropriate time allows our staff to provide the attention needed for the highest level of service. Controlled substances are typically not prescribed during new patient visits. An internist with academic and practical experience, including three residencies, one each from Forest Park Hospital, El Sahel Teaching Hospital, and Asir Central Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Ali looks after the community of Florissant, MO. He sees patients at BJC Medical Group at Northwest HealthCare. Dr. Ali earned his medical degree from the Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt and went on to complete an internship at the same institute. He is also fellowship trained at Saint Louis University. Well trained and capable, he holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine with a specialty focus on geriatric medicine. A dedicated geriatrician, Dr. Ali’s fluency in English and Arabic allows him to cater to a larger patient base. He goes all out to ensure his patients are well cared for. He is a good listener and encourages his patients to discuss their issues candidly, thus ensuring that they receive appropriate treatment and all their concerns are taken care of.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ali’s for many years now and he’s always been great! Very caring, and understanding and tries to help in any way he can. There are a couple of Nurses that take you back into a room that are really rude and unfriendly. One in particular made me feel like I was bothering her or wasting her time. Small thin middle aged woman just very not personable at all. The rest of the staff are great.
