Any new patients that book their appointment in an existing patient time slot will probably need to be rescheduled. Dr. Rachel Young is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she received her medical degree. She went on to complete her residency in family medicine at McLaren Macomb. I have just moved to Michigan & needed a primary provider, I chose Dr Young due to the office being close to my home. The staff was friendly & helpful when I arrived, & the entire experience was wonderful. It is always difficult to establish care after moving across country, but Dr Young & her staff made this process painless & easy. Dr Young was knowledgeable about my health concerns & offered options to address each one. She listened & at no point did I feel rushed, which is nice in these days of 10 minute time slots. I would recommend this office for anyone needing a primary physician.

I have had some trouble finding a physician as an adult and since finding Dr. Young I feel a huge sense of relief. Every time I have visited I have had a great experience. Everyone I have encountered in this office truly listens, cares, and is extremely kind. I truly could not recommend Dr. Young more. She is exactly what someone could hope for in a doctor.

My Zoc Doc visit with Dr. Young was perfect! I received reminder texts from both Zoc Doc and Dr. Young's office staff.
I was taken back to a room within 10 minutes of my appointment time and seen within 25 minutes of my appointment time. Dr. Young is conscientious, kind and knowledgeable.

The last few times I have been there to see Dr. Young I feel like she looks at me like I’m a joke, everything I tell her she gives a comment “that is just normal”
She doesn’t listen to me it really hurts that she doesn’t want to help me. She walked out of the office and looked at her coworker I’m sure she rolled her eyes at her about me. I’m sick of feeling like crap all I want is to see what else can be looked at or done.

While Dr. Young was very kind, I felt very rushed during my appointment and not hurd. I had brought up my recent and sudden weight gain and she immediately went to wanting to prescribe weight loss medication instead of looking into why. I brought up a few other concerns I had and they were brushed off and the focus remained on how helpful weight loss medication is.
