About Dr. John Riley
Dr. John Riley is a comprehensive ear, nose, and throat (ENT) and sinus specialist and facial plastic surgeon based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with advanced expertise in treating nasal obstruction, chronic sinusitis, sinus headaches, nasal valve collapse, deviated septum, and other complex conditions of the nose and sinuses. Dr. Riley is a board-certified diplomate of American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics at the University of Notre Dame and earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery through MSU and Henry Ford Health System, where he received comprehensive ENT training as well as advanced mentorship in both functional and cosmetic procedures of the head and neck.
Dr. Riley is highly skilled in both minimally invasive, in-office procedures and full surgical interventions performed in the operating room. He specializes in functional septoplasty and advanced rhinoplasty, helping patients breathe better while enhancing the natural appearance of the nose. His approach to cosmetic and reconstructive nasal surgery is personalized and tailored to each patient’s individual issues and desired outcomes.
In addition to adult care, Dr. Riley provides pediatric ENT services, including ear tube placement and tonsillectomy. He also performs surgery for thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland conditions.
