Abittan is the Director of Skin and Hair Rejuvenation and Director of Hair Transplantation. Dr. Abittan completed a seven-year accelerated BS/MD program, graduating Magna Cum Laude from City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science in 2012 and graduating from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine with his Doctor of Medicine in 2015. Immediately after medical school, Dr. Abittan completed his intern year at SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Abittan did dermatopharmacology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Department of Dermatology, where he also worked as an administrative manager for the department. Dr. Abittan completed Dermatology Residency at the Mount Sinai Department of Dermatology.

This was great but SO EXPENSIVE even with insurance. Went for the standard preventative annual skin screening, turned out to be only partially covered by insurance. On there for 30 mins, great experience, He took two small biopsies and I ended up paying multiple hundreds out of pocket, even with insurance after the labs. They called and told me I should come back to have them removed but literally-cannot afford that. Will just have to risk it. Will have to try a Derm elsewhere. That amount out of pocket after insurance is just quite simply not an option for a standard screening.
