As a resident, Dr. Patel was involved in developing innovative technologies to enhance patient care focusing on safety and quality improvement for dermatologic procedures. He also received a grant opportunity to provide dermatologic care in Botswana, Africa. Dr. Patel then completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology in Houston at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the #1 cancer hospital in the U.S. He has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at national and international meetings. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys basketball and exploring the outdoors.
